PRETTY KNOTTY is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Management Intern for the Fall 2017 semester!
The Supply Chain Intern will work directly with the Co-Owner to source materials, suppliers and production methods for Pretty Knotty’s products.
As a small company with an innovative product, we’re continually looking for better performance results, supply pricing, packing and shipping. Additionally, we may add on other Operations–related tasks as time goes on.
Functions & Responsibilities:
Work with Vice President to research and report on materials, suppliers and methods
Write, compare and edit Bills of Materials
Contact manufacturers to find out about their products
Create and protect confidential company data
Offer suggestions for supply chain issues based on research
Requirements:
Positive, can-do attitude
Detail oriented
Willingness to become familiar with brand and brand’s operational needs
Familiarity with Google Docs and Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to have several long/short term projects going on at once
Interest in learning about supply chain management from a consumer product perspective
